Magic Tree House
Visual development and design work for Magic Tree House, spanning an in-world King Arthur book prop, illustration, merchandise, and bookmarks.
During my internship at Spuree, I created visual assets for Magic Tree House across multiple parts of the production, from an in-world King Arthur book cover to merchandise, bookmarks, and character-driven product concepts.

Created during my internship at Spuree for the Magic Tree House production. I designed and illustrated all of the work shown here.
In-World Design
The King Arthur artwork was created as the cover of a book Jack holds in the production. I developed several directions, including a version with a custom Frog Creek Library sticker.

Developing the Cover
I developed the cover from an early pencil layout into colored and fully rendered directions. Multiple versions were approved, and no single version has been confirmed as the final production cover.

Extending the World
I also created bookmark illustrations and a standalone treehouse illustration for the project.

Additional Editorial Spreads
I also designed and illustrated a series of dinosaur editorial spreads for the production, researching and writing the educational copy alongside the original illustration and page layout.

Merchandise + Character Application
I explored product applications through front-and-back plush concepts for Jack and Annie.

Approved for Production
The featured directions were approved for production. The project is currently still in production.
